What Are Some Characteristics of Gifted Children?

- Long attention span

- Smiling or recognizing caretakers early
- Intense reactions to noise, pain, frustration
- Avant-garde progression through the developmental milestones

- Early and extensive linguistic communication evolution
- Fascination with books
- Curiosity
- First-class sense of humour

- Sensitivity and compassion
If a child exhibits a bulk of these characteristics, parents may wish to accept the kid assessed by an experienced examiner to find out if the child is gifted. Firstborn children tend to be recognized more ofttimes than their siblings. When one child in the family unit is gifted, it is quite possible that others may also be gifted.
